Genetic Medicines: A Revolution in the World of Medicine

Genetic medicines are novel medical treatments that rely on manipulating genes to treat diseases. Rather than treating the symptoms, these medicines seek to address the root cause of the disease by targeting defective or disease-causing genes and repairing or modifying their function.

How do gene medicines work?
